We very much appreciate all the financial support that we receive from our donors.<\/p>\n

As of May 2024, we had received around \u00a330.9 million in donations from individual philanthropists, grantmakers, and foundations. Our largest donor is Open Philanthropy<\/a>, whose mission is to help others as much as possible with the resources available. Their main funders are Cari Tuna and Dustin Moskovitz, a co-founder of Facebook and Asana.<\/p>\n

We haven’t accepted any donations from corporations in exchange for promotion.<\/p>\n

We greatly appreciate all the support we receive to keep 80,000 Hours running!<\/p>\n

The vast majority of our donations come from individuals, who give because they expect us to deliver a large social impact. We haven\u2019t accepted any donations from corporations. Our donors range from large philanthropists, to former coaching alumni, to members of the effective giving community who donate 10% or more of their income.<\/p>\n
